Simona Damon

Mentor Coordinator

Simona J. Damon is Navajo originally from Fort Defiance, Arizona which is located on the Navajo Reservation near the Four Corners area. Simona has lived in Tucson for 21 years. She first moved to Tucson, Arizona in June 1999, when she attended the University of Arizona. In 2004, she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Community Health Education (a.k.a. Public Health). Simona, began her career working in the Non-Profit sector; in which, she has over 10 years experience. Simona worked for local non-profit organizations such as: The Tucson Indian Center and the Pima County Health Department where she coordinated and managed her own programs working with youth, adults and elders.

In 2012, Simona attended a Get Motivated Seminar, which inspired her to step out in faith and start her own company. By becoming an entrepreneur Simona saw a greater opportunity to help non-profit organizations as well as low-income families by bridging the gap between non-profit organizations and for-profit businesses. After several challenging years in building a business she connected with the founders of 3G Marketing Group, LLC (a.k.a 3G Consulting, LLC) and joined their partnership in June 2014. 3G was founded under a larger umbrella called Operation Prosperity; which is a non-profit designed to help individuals who are in transition. Operation Prosperity’s goal is to offer a second chance and hand “up” to those willing to put forth the effort to overcome their difficult past or transition. 3G has afforded her the opportunity to grow personally, professionally, intellectually, spiritually, and emotionally as she’s been able to establish lasting relationships with various business owners who are passionate about what they do and genuinely desire to impact the Tucson Community.

Simona joined the One on One Mentoring family in November 2020 and she’s extremely excited to bring her passion for helping people, her desire to empower people to make a difference in their realm of influence and her skillset in building a solid foundation and lasting relationships between various individuals and sectors.  Simona is blessed to be part of an organization that truly cares  for their mentors, mentees, and Tucson Community. She’s thrilled to apply her leadership skills to equip and encourage our mentors to be the best resource for their mentees. She is honored to be a part of the bigger goal of providing a future and a hope for at risk youth through the power of mentorship! After all, it’s the mentors in her life who made the biggest difference and believed in her to accomplish more than she ever imagined for herself.
